RJA and Kosher Troops Support American Soldiers

?That?s a lot of boxes!? exclaimed the fifth grade students from Rockland Jewish Academy. They were packing boxes of snacks and items associated with the upcoming Purim holiday, to be shipped by Kosher Troops to American soldiers deployed overseas. KosherTroops was co-founded by Ava Hamburger, school psychologist at Rockland Jewish Academy.?

In the end, the students filled 450 boxes with goodies, and themselves with the satisfaction of giving to others, a defining value taught at RJA.
